A dense hardwood like this Burl from Australia has a rather different grain color pattern that doesn’t show up in most burls. This started from a small pieces and i put a bit of extra effort into adding the black area. This area would have been a void left from the bark. Size 2 1/16” tall 1 13/16” wide #0121
