Red Mallee Burl with African Blackwood
Red Mallee is a beautiful burl wood from Australia. What makes this box special is the two tone wood. The red tones is the heart of the burl and the white are comes from the sap area next to the bark. Almost half the box size was lost to achieve this pattern in the lid.
